Interesting new research on a 7,200 year old female skeleton found in Southern Sulawesi, the first human remains from the Toalean Culture.
Who were the mysterious Toaleans, a sea faring hunter-gatherer group going back at least 8,000 years? Migration and DNA research connecting these people to the Denisovans brings up new questions.
