The Clava Cairns & Orion's Belt

Just above the River Nairn is one of Scotland’s most mysterious and sacred prehistoric sites. The Clava Cairns are highlighted by three exceptionally well-preserved burial cairns, each enclosed by stone circles. We know little about who the cairn builders were, for they left no written record. These three Cairns are laid out in the unmistakable pattern of the belt stars in Orion. These date to about 2,000 BC so Orion was being worshiped in the ancient U.K. for at least 1500 years. Links below.
